How to Renew Blogger Enom Domain through G Suite Google Admin

by Crystal Paradis March 8, 2017
written by Crystal Paradis

It took me far too long to investigate and discover how to renew my Blogger domain name/URL after getting a message from ENOM saying that my auto-renewal payment details were no longer valid (which will happen every two years…)

After lots of Google-ing and reading frustrated forum posts, I finally found this, hidden in plain sight on Google’s help page (but not the Google help page that Google thought I needed):

Use bloggeradmin@[yourdomain.com] to log into Google’s G Suite Admin dashboard

If you forgot your password, at least knowing that above email address will allow you to start the password recovery process.

That’s really is the entire solution — I hope this helps you find the solution faster than I did!

How To Instagram Filter Your Photos Without Posting Publicly to Instagram

by Crystal Paradis December 3, 2013
written by Crystal Paradis

Ever want to get an Instagram filter on a photo without sharing it publicly on Instagram?

Austin Kleon tweeted this brilliant hack awhile ago, and I’d thought I’d share it with you all, in case you aren’t already following him on Twitter (which I suggest you do). Don’t worry, he’s cool with stealing.

1. iPhone Settings > Airplane mode > on 2. Post photo to Instagram. Fail. Remove. 3. Filtered photo is now in your camera roll w/o posting

— Austin Kleon (@austinkleon) September 30, 2013

  1. In your iPhone Settings, turn on Airplane Mode.
  2. Instagram photo as normal—but when you “Share” it, it will fail. Just tap the “X” and Remove Upload.
  3. The photo is now on your Camera Roll in your iPhone’s Photos.

That’s it! (Don’t worry, I also Instagrammed this tip.)

Personally, I usually use Camera+, as I recommended in a previous post, because it gives much more control and filtering options. However, this trick can be quicker, or come in handy if you want the specific look of an Instagram filter you love.
