WordPress Content Management & Website Consulting for Socially-Responsible Individuals, Small Businesses & Organizations

by Crystal Paradis-Catanzaro

Do you have a WordPress website that is not living up to your vision? Is it difficult for your website visitors to navigate or clearly understand what you do?

You might need someone like me to help you with your content management. “WordPress content management” is a fancy way to talk about editing, updating and maintaining your website on the WordPress platform. And since WordPress is the most widely-used content management system (CMS) out there, if you have a website and don’t know what platform it’s on, chances are it might be a WordPress website (you can check that by entering your domain here: isitWP.com).

I’d love to help you manage your WordPress website content.

WordPress content management is one of my core competencies. I find myself managing content on WordPress websites on at least a weekly basis — whether for myself on my own various project/biz websites, or for friends, clients or organizations who don’t have the in-house staff to do it themselves. I love tinkering around in the WP dashboard, figuring out how to make things work better, be more usable, convey your message better and just make it easier for your website visitors to find you and understand what you do (hi, SEO best practices!).

What is content management?

In short, content management is: managing (editing, publishing, updating, rearranging, freshening up) your content (blog posts, web pages, photos, videos, infographics, memes, sidebars, menu items, forms, etc.) to help you reach more people more effectively online. Content management is not a thing that non-techie folks are necessarily able to learn intuitively — and even if you are able to add or edit blog posts, you may not be well-versed about user experience (UX) or search engine optimization (SEO) best practices. That’s where I come in.

Will you redesign and redevelop my website?

Nope — sorry. I am not a graphic designer or website developer. I know some really great ones that I can refer you to if that’s what you need. If you need a complete overhaul, I’m not your person. But — if you have a website already that just needs some usability updates, menu/navigation work, content shuffling or general usability upgrades, I might be just the person for you.

Okay, cool. Pretty sure I need WordPress content management. Now what?

If you have ever worked with me before, you know about my commitment to working with socially-responsible, values-aligned organizations and businesses. If you’ve seen my Services page, you’ve seen the list of the types of organizations and businesses I will and won’t work with. “Socially responsible” is a category that encompasses many attributes that my favorite clients share.

So, if you’re part of a socially-responsible business or organization in need of some WordPress content management assistance, I’d love to talk.

Drop me a line, and I’d be happy to give you a free assessment, take a walk outside with you or grab a beverage and talk about your communications and marketing goals and whether I’d be a good fit to help you achieve them.
